2008-09 World Cup Academy Ski Team Announced
The Alberta World Cup Academy, which was officially announced on March 15, today introduced the 2008 Ð 2009 ski team athletes and coaching staff who will drive the vision. Athletes to the Academy were selected based on their winter 2008 athletic performance, their personal levels of commitment and their goals. - Heidi Widmer, Banff Canmore's Mike Cavaliere, as Academy Racing Director, comments, "These athletes are some of the top racers in Canada. I am excited about the potential of this inaugural team. It is a diverse group who share a passion and commitment to their sport."
