On behalf of the Canadian Rockies School Division, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing CRPS students with an outstanding field trip to the Nordic Centre to watch the World Cup races. Because of your generous contribution of funding to provide transportation and planning a space for the children to eat lunch, they were treated to a memorable experience. The students felt as though they were a part of the event and were bursting with enthusiasm for days afterwords.
I was talking to a teacher of a little boy from Morley. He said being up at the Nordic Centre was so beautiful that it was like a dream, but that it wasn't - it was real and he was there. This was the thought of just one and I know there are many other children that truly appreciated the day.
It is my hope that we can continue to partake in local adventures and open the eyes of our students. Thank you so much for helping us all be there!
