Patrick-Stewart-Jones-crop-e1422741944286Patrick is the longest standing member of the Academy. With his thick brown hair and impeccable technique he is hard to miss. This will be his 5th year on the Team. Pat was raised in Chelsea, Quebec and raced for Nakkertok along with his 3 siblings before moving to Canmore to train with the AWCA in 2011. Patrick is a super duper fast skier and he is often best at classic sprinting, with Sovereign Lake being one of his favorite sprint courses. Pat has represented Canada on many occasions including World Junior/ U23 Championships and on the World Cup. More often than not if you see a North American sprint podium, Patrick will be standing on top of it. Although he is a skier he is also a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable cycling fan. Giro, Tour de France, the Spring Classics, you name it and Pat knows. Patrick is also learning to tap into his musical side by taking up the Ukulele. I have heard him play and he will be leading campfire sing-a-longs in no time. Patrick is full of energy and a great teammate to have around on and off the trails, always full of fun stories and ready for a good debate.
