
The Alberta World Cup Academy (AWCA) invites applications for a High Performance Coach (HPC) for the 2026/27 training and competition year.
Working alongside a dynamic team of coaches, technical staff, and administrative leadership, the HPC will play a central role in driving the AWCA’s vision and long-term athletic success.
Job Overview
Reporting directly to the AWCA Program Director (PD) and working collaboratively with the coaching staff, the HPC will take lead ownership of our Calgary Daily Training Environment (DTE) from September 2026 through to March 31, 2027.
This role primarily focuses on leading a driven group of U23/U20 student-athletes who balance post-secondary studies with high-performance sport.
The position is based in Calgary with regular travel to Canmore, regional training sites, and national competition circuits.

This is a fixed term position. While the initial engagement lasts until March 31, 2026, there is a potential for extension or transition to a permanent role based on business needs and performance.
